We need your help! Due to the extension of the circuit breaker, new needs have surfaced. The meals would be purchased from the Hawker Centres in Geylang Bahru, in alignment with our aim to support local-small businesses. Your donation would go a long way in supporting those in need!
Help us provide essential necessities to the vulnerable community, affected by COVID-19!
Imagine losing your job or having your income severely reduced, while trying to provide for a family with young children or elderly.
On 7 April, our government implemented the “Circuit Breaker” measures. This was to slow down community spread of the virus. Yet with many people staying at home, our low wage workers are most hit, with the loss of income.

So the #architectsoflife team asked ourselves. How can we help those impacted by Covid-19? What was initially a question, led to a series of actions, and has evolved into a volunteer-led project.
Working with Kolam Ayer CC, our goal is to raise $8,000 to provide 300 x care packs to low income families and seniors who live alone.

Each care pack cost approximately $30, and would include the following necessities, curated together with the constituency management, who walks the ground and knows the needs.
The cost is pegged at this range, for besides low-income families & seniors, we #SupportLocal and are getting the supplies from small business owners (such as our neighbourhood mini-marts ). All deliveries will be sent by taxi drivers, so they in turn get jobs during this period.
We make sure every cent goes a long way in helping the community.

Note: On 14 April, every Singaporean over the age of 21, receives a Solidarity Payment. Many of us can tide over this crisis, without this fund. There are others in the community who may not have this luxury.
We invite you to use this fund, to support us!
To thank you for your support, we have also lined up a series of fundraising events, including Free ‘LIVE’ fitness workouts. All you have to do, is to join us 10mins before the class, on our Facebook page and Instagram (@aolsg)

Please also use #WithLoveAOL to help us raise awareness & spread love on social media!
We will be sending updates to you, on the project progress.
