Mr. Yusoff is a caring father of three young children, aged between 9 to 5. His wife is a full-time caregiver to their three children and holds an LTVP+ card as she holds Malaysian citizenship. Mr. Yusoff previously worked in the security line and as a mover for the past 25 years. However, he switched his career to work in the pest control industry in order to spend more time with his family.

Working in the pest control industry, he earns about $1,000 per month. However, his monthly salary has been irregular lately as he has lesser overtime hours assigned to him. He has also applied for financial assistance from the SSO and is receiving some help with his monthly household bills. However, this amount is barely sufficient for the family to get by each month. As the sole breadwinner of the family, Mr Yusoff shared that he has been working tirelessly to make ends meet.

Due to the nature of his current and previous jobs, he has been suffering from back problems and is suspected to have a slipped disc. In addition, he has heart issues and high cholesterol. Despite being in physical pain, he still works tirelessly to support his family. He hopes to upgrade himself to a supervisory role to provide a better quality of life for his children in the future.

Ray of Hope would like to raise S$2,500 for Mr. Yusoff and his family. This will help them with their groceries for the next 5 months ($500 x 5 months).
