Mr Silvaraj is currently serving out his sentence at a halfway house. Prior to his incarceration he used to work as a delivery and container loading assistant on a part-time basis.
He currently has a good relationship with his brother who is currently living in the rental flat that they share. His brother is working and does come to visit him. Mr Silvaraj is embarrassed to ask his brother for any financial assistance as he is already paying for everything to sustain their flat.
