Madam Ivy, 34 years old, is a single mother of two. She moved into a two-room rental flat recently with her 11-year-old daughter while her 14-year-old son lives with her mother. Madam Ivy was promised a job position at the start of September but was turned down at the last minute. Since then, she has been looking for a new job as she wants to support her family more.
Madam Ivy is aware that she has arrears that need to be settled. However, being the only one supporting her two children, she finds it hard to do so, especially given the current economic status. *Madam Ivy is receiving assistance from SSO.
