Ray of Hope previously assisted Li Ting in October 2020 when her husband lost his employment due to the outbreak of Covid-19 and the Circuit Breaker measures in Singapore.

Shortly after, Li Ting’s husband managed to secure a job in January 2021 as a cleaner, earning $1,300 a month. He holds a Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP) in Singapore. After working for nearly 8 months, Li Ting’s husband had to cease employment to help care for their newborn daughter. His LTVP is also expiring at the end of the year and is pending renewal.

With their newborn as an addition to the family, Li Ting finds it challenging to manage the family’s finances as the cost of baby products has increased. Previously, the family was receiving financial assistance from the SSO. However, their period of assistance has recently ended and is now under renewal.

Li Ting hopes to enroll her newborn into infant care soon to help supplement the family’s household income. Her husband is also expected to return to the workforce once his LTVP is renewed.

Ray of Hope would like to raise S$2,520 (S$630 x 4 months) as an interim assistance while her SSO assistance is being renewed. Your donation would help Li Ting with the family’s daily necessities and her baby’s milk formula and diapers!
