Determined to turn over a new leaf for his family
Kumar was the sole breadwinner of his family of 10. The 38-year-old has four children (8, 6, 4 and 3) from his current marriage and was also supporting his four step-children (18, 14, 12 and 11).
In 2019, both Kumar and his wife were both incarcerated. Their incarceration has inevitably separated the family. Kumar’s biological children and step-children are currently cared for by Kumar’s elderly mum and his relatives.
