Hi All 

Keeping up with our Christmas tradition for the last two years, we are planning to bring a smile on migrant workers’ faces this holiday season. And we need your help! We are working with itsrainingraincoats and RayOfHope to raise funds and buy gifts for migrant workers. 

We would do this face to face, all together in a normal year. That is not an option this year, so we have chosen an online funds platform to maximise the reach of this message. 

Our plan for using funds is the same – we will buy some basic items to make their lives better: backpacks, tiger balm, umbrellas, headphones, sweets. (Things the rest of us lose all the time and take for granted everyday). 

We will buy supplies for small vendors and wholesalers whose businesses have been impacted this year – this is inline with our value of giving back to the communities we live and work in.

The other change is we can no longer pack these gifts in the office. We need volunteers to form a team and host a packing party between 7 December and 15 December 2020! 

HERE’S HOW YOU CAN HELP:

1. Donate online – any amount between $10 and $1,000 is welcome
2. Volunteer to host or visit gift packing parties – we need volunteers who can form groups of 5 (VTO hours included) to wrap gifts 
3. Volunteer to help with logistics – we will need help moving boxes around
