Mr Man, 51 years old, is currently serving the remaining part of his sentence at a halfway house due to narcotics offences. Mr Man acknowledges his mistake and is determined to turn his life around and aims to be reunited back with his 5-year-old daughter.
Mr Man, a Singaporean, married an Indian National in an arranged marriage. Their marriage subsequently broke down and Mr Man was awarded care and control of their daughter. In July 2016 however, his estranged wife took his daughter without his knowledge back to India and he has not spoken to his daughter since. A devoted and loving father, he transfers money to his estranged wife every month to support his young daughter’s finances even though he was not allowed to communicate with her. To Mr Man, his daughter’s wellbeing is important even though he has not spoken to her since 2016.
Mr Man is currently undergoing a 5-Ton Forklift course in order to upgrade himself. He wishes to turn over a new leaf for his daughter and wishes to be reunited with her.

Ray of Hope would like to raise S$440 (S$220 x 2 months) to defray his transport and food allowance while he diligently attends his forklift course in a bid to turn over a new leaf for his young daughter.
