Hi friends, I’ve had 59 fantastic years and I’m turning 60! Join me as I celebrate the coming autumn of my life.

About this Event

It has been a summer of friendship, discovery and inspiration with all of you! The meals and coffee chats with everyone has made the summer of my life so special, and not without lots of enjoyable hard work.

This coming Autumn at 60, I’ve decided that I’ll support and share my life with 60 unique individuals who may have fallen through the cracks or struggling through their journey. In addition, I’ll be supporting some amazing NGO workers.

Autumn is that mellow and reflective season after the busyness of summer as I prepare for winter. Autumn really is as unknown as it is mysterious and I can’t wait for you to join me as I begin this new chapter.

100% of your donations to Ray of Hope go to people in need. We do not take a cut from the funds. 100% of all campaigns are also fully verified, so you know your funds goes to real people with real needs.

We take donor accountability very seriously – with yearly audited accounts and strong governance in place to ensure that your donations is properly channeled to the beneficiaries.

Ray of Hope is a registered charity and a member of the National Council of Social Services.

FAQs

How are the funds distributed to the 60 individuals?

Every campaign has a specific target amount to meet their needs. The funds raised will be distributed based on that.

If the campaign is not fully raised, we will then distribute the funds equally among the 7 categories of beneficiaries (Elderly, Migrant Workers, Single Parents, Ex-offenders,  Special Needs, Homeless & NGO workers.)

I don’t see 60 campaigns listed here, where are the rest?

We’re in the process of uploading the rest of the campaigns as the nominations from the various charities are coming in.

I would like to donate to Weileong’s special project – how do I do that?

There’s a campaign description for special projects that you can read about on the main campaign page. Please put “Special Projects” in the comment box when you are donating, this way we know your donation is for that.

*Donations to the Weileong’s general birthday pledge does not contribute to Special Projects unless specifically requested by you in the comments. For more info on these special projects, please click here.

What happens if the campaign exceeds the target?

Wei Leong and Ray of Hope will work together to channel the funds to other needy beneficiaries. But rest assured that 100% of the funds will only go to individuals.

I have a beneficiary/person I would like to nominate for this campaign? Who should I contact?

I would like to donate to Ray of Hope’s other beneficiaries, how do I do that?

Here are all of our existing campaigns. We’re grateful for your support. 100% of your funds will be channeled to them.
