When we met Mr Ram, he spoke of his deep regret and is currently working hard towards turning over a new leaf for his family. Before his incarceration, he held a steady job and together with his wife’s income, they were able to provide a comfortable life for their teenage sons. Since his incarceration, his wife, who is now the sole breadwinner, struggles to provide for their two sons and her ailing mother.
Mr Ram is taking class 3 driving license in a bid to upgrade himself and secure a better paying job once his course ends. He is expected to complete his driving course in three months’ time. During this time, he is unable to work, and he worries greatly for the wellbeing of his family.
