Background
Mr Man, 51 years old, is currently serving the remaining part of his sentence at a halfway house due to narcotics offences. Mr Man acknowledges his mistake and is determined to turn his life around and aims to be reunited back with his 5-year-old daughter.
Mr Man, a Singaporean, married an Indian National in an arranged marriage. Their marriage subsequently broke down and Mr Man was awarded care and control of their daughter. Our case managers recently met Mr Man. He has been to a few job interviews however, it was not successful. The halfway house is currently arranging a few more interviews for him and he wishes to be gainfully employed without prejudice against recovering ex-offenders like him.
