Lunar New Year is one of the festivals widely celebrated by many communities all over the world. It is also the time when one gets to be dressed in new clothes, gather with their families and loved ones to indulge in festive feasting. It is always about being together with your family members and to be able to look forward to a better year ahead.

While many families have the privilege to celebrate the Lunar New Year, many of our beneficiaries do not have the luxury to do so due to their families’ financial constraints. 

Ray of Hope is raising $10,000 to be distributed equally among 30 families that they are able to celebrate the Lunar New Year with dignity, pride and joy just like us. Most of these beneficiaries are elderly living alone with little or no family support or single parents working hard to provide for their children. 

As we celebrate and indulge in the festive season, let’s not forget that a little goes a long way in giving the families some hope! We believe that every little help counts. A S$50 donation will buy a family of 4 a meal. You never know how impactful your small gestures of kindness can be, especially when it has the power to make another person’s day better!
