Fadilah is a mother of four children aged 7, 4, 3 and 1. Her husband who was working as a parcel delivery rider was supporting the family with his income of $1,000. Unfortunately, he was informed by the seller whom he was working for that his service was no longer needed after working for a month, to reduce costs.

The sudden unemployment has left the family in distress with the loss of their sole income. It has also become very challenging, especially when the couple has four young children to feed and care for.

Despite the challenges with the current Covid-19 situation, Fadilah’s husband hopes to gain employment to continue supporting his family. Fadilah is also working towards employment once her youngest daughter enrols in infant care at 18 months old.

Ray of Hope wishes to raise S$2,400 for Fadilah and her family. This will help them with their food and children’s expenses for the next 3 months ($800 x 3 months) while they work towards employment.
