Help an injured worker care for his family back home
27-year-old Alam was employed as a general construction worker and had paid a S$10,000 agent’s fees to come to Singapore for work. On 11 October 2020, Alam was on his bicycle on the way back to his dorm when a vehicle collided with him on the road. The accident caused him to injure his lower right leg.

Alam has returned home
ROH was updated by the NGO assisting Alam that he has returned home yesterday evening. Unfortunately, attempts to reach him during the past month  were futile. Hence, we will be transferring the undisbursed funds of $2278.25 from Alam’s campaign to the Migrant Workers Giving Circle to help other migrant worker campaigns.

1st disbursement to Alam
The funds for Alam’s disbursement were given to him. The grateful worker was thankful for the donations that came through to him. We were also heartened to know that Alam has now fully recovered and is able to walk unassisted!
