Sam is currently serving out the remainder of his sentence in a halfway house, he has less than a year to go.

He was working as a kitchen assistant for over two years before he strayed and was sentenced. He plans to go back to the F&B industry once he is released.

He will start on a 5-week Culinary Course once courses resume at the halfway house. They have been put on hold as a result of the Covid-19 situation.

His mother, 70, is also in the F&B industry and owns a food stall. He has 4 siblings, all of whom are working. However, he is unable to ask them for assistance as he wants to gain their trust first.

Ray of Hope would like to raise $900 for Mr Sam for his living expenses for 3 months. This will help him as he starts on his journey back to the Culinary Scene and rebuilds his relationship with his family.
