Ray of Hope is raising $1,520 ($380 x 4 months) to help Humaiza with groceries while she recovers.

30 year-old Humaiza is a single parent. Her 9 year-old son has dyslexia and bronchitis.

Humaiza tested positive for Covid-19 in February 2022. Although the results of ARTs showed that she was clear of the virus, she has been experiencing giddy spells and breathlessness, which makes it difficult for her to take care of her son. On 17th and 24th March, Humaiza was sent to the hospital, because of sudden breathlessness.

As a single parent and her son’s sole caregiver, Humaiza wants to work to support the family. However, she is worried about her deteriorating health. Humaiza currently stays with her elder sister; this is a temporary arrangement until Humaiza’s health improves.

Humaiza’s next hospital visit is on 7th April. Depending on the doctor’s recommendation, she will then be able to plan for the next course of treatment.
