About Friday Movement
What started as a call to feed the hungry one year ago by one person has progressed to become what it is today — Friday Movement. We are a small group of individuals banding together to do the best we can to help the less fortunate. We believe a small act of kindness can go a long way. Weekly we distribute 400 packets of food to the elderly and low-income families of York Hill and Jln Minyak. Our support comes from family and friends or directly from our own pockets. We are open to help with food distribution, sponsoring food and cash. We are too small a group to be registered but we are hoping this will change soon.
Aesop, the famous Greek philosopher, once said, ‘No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.”
