Ray of Hope is raising $1,200 to help Mr. Sham with daily expenses for 3 months. This will tide him over as he supports his elderly mother and saves up for a rental flat.
Mr. Sham, 57, is serving the end of his sentence at a halfway house. As part of his time there, he works as a cleaner and is doing his best to start afresh, despite suffering from diabetes, high blood pressure and pneumonia.
